Just bought a new TV and thinking of watching your favorite show on it? Well, before you go ahead and do that, there is one major thing that you need to do: mount your TV! If you’re worried about how to do this, rest assured. We have got you covered - all you need to do is follow these steps to mount your TV without any issues!

Decide Where You Want Your TV Placed
First thing’s first, you will need to figure out where you want to place your TV. Find the ideal stop where the eye level is decent and there’s enough space for your TV to fit. Placing it in living room is the ideal thing to do as that is generally the most comfortable spot in the house. But, if you have some other room in mind, then make sure that you can fit your TV there perfectly.

Find The Wall Studs Using A Stud Finder
Next, you need to find the walls studs using a stud finder. Don’t rush in when you do this because you don’t want to add too many holes to your walls. Go slowly with your stud finder to find the ideal spot to place the holes. If you’re using an electrical stud finder, then be sure to read the instruction manual and be even more careful with its use.

Mark Where You Want To Plot The Holes
The next thing you want to do is plot the holes for where you want to drill. You need to be extremely cautious at this point because if you make a wrong hole, it will damage your wall and you’ll have to drill another one. Mark the spots and then take another look at them before moving on to the next step.

Drill The Pilot Holes
Now, it’s time for you to drill the holes. Carefully analyze whether everything is in place before you create the holes. As you do this, don’t exert too much pressure and let the tool do its job.

Attach The Bracket To The Wall
It’s finally time to move on to placing the wall mount. But it’s still too soon and you just have a couple of more steps remaining to the finished outcome. Attach the mount bracket to the wall and adjust it properly. Drill the screws into the pilot holes you made earlier to secure the bracket.

Attach The Plate To The TV
Next, you will have to attach the mounting plate to the TV. Observe where you’re supposed to attach the plate by locating the holes. Attach the plate using the hardware provided before moving to the final step.

Mount Your TV
Lift your TV and line it to the bracket on the wall. You can get a friend or another partner to help you out if the TV is too big or heavy for you. Follow the instructions that came with your TV and connect them together, then you should be good to go!
